What's New For 2024?

The new model year sees many changes made to the Sierra 2500HD. There are several visual changes, like a revised front fascia with available LED headlights and taillights, a revised powertrain, and a new Denali Ultimate trim. The Denali Ultimate is a more luxurious model than the Denali, offering leather-wrapped door panels and steering wheel. There's even 16-way power-adjustable front heated and cooled messaging front seats.

Technology

As Fort Worth shoppers step into the cabin of the revised Sierra 2500HD, they'll discover a wealth of great features. Coming standard is an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But a larger 13.4-inch display is available with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and split-screen navigation.

Performance

Under the hood of the new GMC 2500HD, Benbrook and Burleson drivers will find a 401 horsepower 6.6-liter V-8 attached with a 10-speed automatic transmission available with rear- or four-wheel drive. There's also an optional Duramax diesel 6.6-liter V-8 that produces 470 horsepower and 975 pounds of torque and also has a 10-speed automatic. With this much power, the GMC 2500HD can tow a maximum of 22,500 pounds at the hitch.

Safety Features

To ensure you stay safe as you travel down the streets of Mansfield, GMC has outfitted every Sierra 2500 HD with various driver-assist technologies. Most of which, however, are offered on higher trims. The base model's standard features include forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, and lane-departure warning. Higher trims offer a comprehensive camera system with up to 15 different viewing modes, including a "transparent" mode, which allows drivers to virtually see through an attached trailer as if it wasn't there.
